Cutting and Embossing Die

Dahlia

This is a lovely flower and with this die set you can re-create it beautifully and easily. There are 4 dies. 1 die is for cutting the petals. The 6 petals come in slightly different sizes with a tiny hole at one end so that the petals can be held together with a brad or wire. You can cut more petals to give a fuller flower look. Using a scoring tool or flower tool curl each petal to give it the distinctive dahlia curled petal look. Cut the flower pieces from colourful cardstock then use an ink in a darker-than-your-paper colour and colour near the base of the petals to give the flower depth and dimension. Included are 2 more flower center dies and 2 leaf dies.

Petals sizes range from 1" to 1 1/2"

Each leaf is 1 3/4" x 1"
